China's new turboprop aircraft,the MA600, an enhanced version of the MA60, received its airworthiness certificate from CAAC yesterday. The MA600 is designed to optimize the MA60's structure and avionics system as well as improve its cabin interior. Its first flight occurred in October 2008 (ATWOnline, Oct. 13, 2008).
