EasyJet (U2) will roll out allocated seating across its network from November, following trials that demonstrated it improved passenger satisfaction without affecting punctuality or adding cost. Some 6,000 trial flights have been conducted since April, affecting more than 800,000 passengers. Of those passengers, more than 70% thought allocated seating improved the boarding experience.
