Venezuela’s Conviasa Airlines (VO) has taken delivery of its first of six Embraer E-190s ordered in July, in a deal that includes 14 options (ATW Daily News, July 31). The contract also includes a flight simulator and a logistics package to support operations for the next five years. According to Embraer, the deal is worth $271.2 million at list prices, based on January 2012 economic conditions, and could total as much as $904 million if all options are confirmed.
