China Eastern A330-300. By Rob Finlayson In a major blow to Boeing, China Eastern Airlines (MU) has ordered 15 Airbus A330s. The new order became apparent in the same Hong Kong regulatory filing in which MU revealed it was canceling an order for 24 Boeing 787s. The new Airbus order comprises 12 A330-200s and three A330-300s. MU said they will facilitate its international expansion. According to the Shanghai-based carrier, the Airbus order is valued at $2.5 billion at list prices. ...
