Bombardier launches CRJ1000, not tied to CSeries program

Bombardier's new 100-seat CRJ1000, which was unveiled Monday, will not affect the company's decision on the proposed CSeries of mainline aircraft. "There is no relation. . .We expected [the CRJ1000] before the CSeries," Bombardier President and CEO Pierre Beaudoin said. "The difference is it's a regional that complements the products we have.
