Malaysian short-haul specialist Firefly has received the first aircraft of a major order for ATR 72-600 turboprops. The regional carrier’s parent, Malaysian Airlines ordered 20 of the latest variant of the ATR series in December 2012 and also signed up for a further 16 options.
