Kazakhstan-based Air Astana has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321 out of an order for six A320 family aircraft. The aircraft is directly purchased from Airbus. The second A321 is expected Dec. 15. The carrier’s A321 aircraft, powered by IAE V2500 engines, features a two-class cabin layout, seating 28 passengers in business class and 151 in economy.
