NTSB investigates 'near collision' of Southwest 737, helicopter

US National Transportation Safety Board said it has launched an investigation into the "near collision" of a Southwest Airlines 737 and a news helicopter over a Houston Hobby runway. According to NTSB, at about 12:25 p.m. on April 28, SWA flight 1322 and a Bell 207 news-gathering helicopter "came within an estimated 125 ft. vertically and 100 ft. laterally from each other as both were departing the airport.
